The Challenge
With years of community trust built under two separate names — Opportunities for Broome and Opportunities for Chenango — the rebrand had to unify both counties into one agency without erasing the local identity that residents depended on. As a donor-supported organization, the new brand also had to be polished and credible enough to inspire continued confidence from funders and the community alike
Our Approach
We built the entire brand around a single anchor word: op — short for opportunity — creating a voice system that spoke directly to the people the agency serves. Taglines like Live your op, Learn your op, and Feed your op gave each service area its own energy while staying rooted in one unified identity, with the website designed so residents could instantly see which county each program served.
The Outcome
Greater Opportunities launched as a unified, people-first brand that bridged two counties without losing either. The your op framework turned a complex social services agency into something approachable and personal — giving donors, funders, and the communities they serve a brand they could proudly stand behind. The tagline Empowering community. Empowering you. gave the organization a voice as strong as its mission.
